Grayhurst Consulting provides consulting and project management services in IT, with a focus on the continual improvement of IT Service Management. Work is aligned with ITIL principles where appropriate.

Credentials

As well as freelance work, I have worked in the United Kingdom for IBM, Truphone and HCL, and in South Africa for Dimension Data, Business Connexion, Foster-Melliar, T-Systems, Quintica, Pink Elephant and other consulting and service companies, and have consulted to organisations in many industries in the UK and in South Africa. I have a technical background in data networking and network and systems management.

I am qualified as an ITIL v3 Expert (2011), ITIL Service Manager (1998) and ISO/IEC 20000 Consultant. I have contributed to ITIL in reviewing the book Planning to Implement Service Management. I have presented to the itSMF conference on a number of occasions, in South Africa and in the UK.
